Google celebrates Indian Indepandence Day with Google Doogle

Google Celebrates 65th  Indian independence day with India's national bird, the peacock.Peacock adorns the Google home page on India's Independence Day. The peacock curves its neck backwards to form the 'G' of the Google logo. The other letters of the Google logo appear in ornate styling behind the peacock's plume.




Previous year Google celebrated this day with a sketch of Delhi's Red Fort took guard on the Google home page on 15th August.

Independence Day is one of the three national holidays in India other than the Republic Day on 26 January and Mohandas Gandhi's birthday (International Non-Violence Day) on 2 October and is observed in all Indian states and union territories.
